The Herb Education Center is located, appropriately, in the "Herb Capital of Ohio", Gahanna in an original brick farmhouse known as the Ridenour House. The house dates to the second decade of the 19th century. The first floor is devoted to class meeting space, a gift shop, a parlor room and a demonstration kitchen.
The not-for-profit, Ohio Herb Education Center (OHEC) Board of Trustees is a volunteer group of men and women that direct the educational programming and day-to-day operations of the facility.
In addition to our educational offerings, the Ohio Herb Center has
Parlor Room Rental available for a small shower, card club, book club, a small catered rehearsal dinner, or small wedding.
