Herbal Technique: Basics

A hands on exploration of creating with herbs using basic methods of preparation. In the first part of this series each participant will use their hands and feel their way through each technique, allowing them to walk away confident in their skills. Part 1 Schedule of Classes: 1/18 Water Infusions, 2/15 Powders & Pastes, 3/15 Oil & Vinegar Infusions

In the second part each participant will learn more advanced techniques building upon what they already know or learned in part 1. Part 2 Schedule of Classes: 8/9 Electuary & Glycerites, 9/13 Salves & Balms, 10/11 Tinctures & Liniments

Each class goes step by step through the process learning the technique in a hands-on manner, limited to 8 students, handouts with general information will be provided, and surprise samples of what is made with occasional take homes.
