About the Event

Pollinators 101 class at the herb center rounds out the week teaching parents and kids 10 and older about our native bees and butterflies, including what you can do in your own backyard to help them. For those who just don’t have time to run their own beehives, this workshop will discuss more than just honeybees and butterflies. Learn about the variety of ways you can contribute to the habitat of our pollinators and how to report what you are seeing in your yard. Then head-out to learn how to identify some common pollinators and simple ways your yard can sustain them year-round. $25 per person
