About the Event

Pollinators: Flower Friendly Wildlife class rounds out the week, teaching parents and kids (10 & older) about our native bees and butterflies, including what to do in your own backyard to help them. The class will cover more than just honeybees and butterflies. Learn how you can contribute to the habitat of our pollinators and how to report what you are seeing in your yard. Then head-out to learn how to identify some common pollinators and simple ways your yard can sustain them year-round. Join State of Ohio Pollinator Advocate and the Ohio Herb Center’s very own bee whisperer Amanda Ferguson to learn about these amazing insects.
